STRENGTHS
There are many facilities available for citizens to use.
WEAKNESSES
Lack of funding has decreased the maintenance at some of the city run parks. For example, the pool at Waddell Park has not been open for several years. When inquired, the city cannot give a time frame of when the pool will re-open.
Many of the city run parks are not groomed for winter use. This may be due to funding, lack of use in the winter or a combination; however, the lack of outdoor recreation is a shortfall for citizens and can have a negative impact on health.
