Lunch Programs
The Niles City Schools is proud to offer breakfast and lunch programs. These meals are planned to meet the guidelines established under the child nutrition program of the United States Department of Agriculture.

Applications for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program are available in all school offices. Forms may be obtained throughout the school year as the need arises. Completed free and reduced lunch applications are to be returned to the principal’s office. They will be reviewed and a determination made as to eligibility. Disabled Services
Trumbull County Educational Service Center (TCESC’s) pupil services department provides special education services through both classroom programs and related professional service programs. These programs help school districts to identify children with disabilities and provide them with an appropriate public education.
TCESC supervisors provide consultation to district administrators, certified and classified staff, parents and agency personnel about the laws and regulations related to the education of children with disabilities. Supervisors also conduct staff development programs regarding research, educational best practices and legislative or judicial entities.

Strengths
Niles has a lot to offer its community. Niles recently built brand new elementary and high schools. The schools provide vital early sexual education to their students. This is essential because Trumbull County has a high teen pregnancy rate. There are plenty of trade schools and universities within a short distance, which makes it easy to further education. Niles also has a lot of day care facilities that make early education easily accessible. This is also useful for parents who need childcare while they work. In addition, the school lunch programs help to provide free or low cost nutrition to its students. Likewise, there are vast resources available to the disabled.
Weaknesses
Nile's 4 year high school graduation rate is only 84.5%.
